Why you should shoot photos like your not going to edit them

There is something that many photographers don't do and that is making images beautiful right out of camera. When viewing photographer’s RAW images, I find that many of them shoot under exposed or over exposed many times I tell them what’s wrong with their photos and they tell me that it's fixable in Photoshop. This is very infuriating to me because the time they spend fixing the picture could be spent working on other aspects of the photo for example they may have fixed the lighting but were too busy to notice the stray hairs on the model or the guy in the back that's photo bombing you. Point is creating your images as if you were not going to do anything them. This allows you to focus on the details and to try new techniques. Another reason for this is let’s say you have a client that just keeps bugging you by wanting to view the photo in camera. They are going to see the bad lighting and things that you are not noticing and start to doubt your capabilities as a photographer. This is a rare occurrence be that as it may it is still something that is avoidable. Now when show clients an image you should never show them the RAW images. I repeat NEVER SHOW CLIENTS THE RAW IMAGE. Why? They don’t see what you see they don’t know that in your mind your smoothing the skin or adding a blur to the background. They don’t see what you see. When doing big shoots, you should be tethering and your images should be looking great right out of the camera. The RAW image will be there for everyone to see luckily when doing big shoot, you have an editor that will process your raw images and create your vision. These people are the only ones who can see what you see. Moral of the story is to be a professional shoot amazing shots right out of camera and make them even better in Photoshop. The images below are shot by me and are unedited.
