When being an artist one must find a muse. M use can be anything a woman a man a song or even another piece of art amuse is something that inspires you typically someone. I have found that I am my own muse I do my photography depending on my  mood.  I find that when I am upset I will often put models in dark creative lighting and when I am happy I will put them in colorful scenes and come up with creative concepts. One must find their own inspiration. 1 thing to go along with your muse is inspirational songs.  Now when I say inspirational I do not mean gospel music I mean something that inspires you. My music that gets me in the zone is called Tool.  To is a rock band That is very tribal in its music and very crazy. To hear their music check them out on YouTube you won't find them on spotify because they do not like to be out there like that. Another artist that I find very inspirational is Kanye West Kanye West as a person is an idiot Kanye West as an artist is a genius. He says things in his music that make you wanna think twice. It is eye opening and the beat is something you can move to you can get lost in. And that is what inspirational music should do to you it should allow you to get lost allow you to open your sub conscious and your creativity enough for you to be creative in photoshop or while painting or while even editing a movie. You should always plan for your photo shoots while in the zone listening to your inspirational music you should come up with creative concepts to put your muse in.  Now some people have a real life muse. A person that inspires them there are many examples of this,  For example there is a woman named O Linda. Her boyfriend is a photographer and produced a book about her. She is his muse they do creative nude and implied  Nude. In the infancy of their relationship his photos were very creative and you could see how he  feels about her but over the years you can tell that his inspiration has faded she went from being a muse to nothing more than a glorified sex object. Muses do not last when you find one put your all into them and don't be afraid to move on this is key and creativity and staying fresh.  I have had only 2 muses that have pushed me to be better and to be more creative I have also pushed them past what they thought they could do as models. This should be the relationship between all photographers and models put your all into this person build them up and they will build you up then you move on to something bigger and better whether you're together or separate either way they will not forget what you have done for them. Do not burn bridges this is a big no no in the photography world photography is all about marketing if you wanna be a successful photographer you need to market yourself to as many people as possible. Don't be afraid to talk to people don't be afraid to get out there if you see someone who inspires you you look at this person and you are star struck by them you can see all their potential just waiting for you to tap into it do not be afraid to talk to them. Do not be afraid to get rejected. The worst they can tell you is no. One of the biggest rules I live my life by is don't be afraid to fail don't be afraid to break the rules not the law but the rules and don't be afraid to move heaven and Earth to get what you want.
