Why you should be using Polaroid

Polaroid is a super fun way to incorporate something new into your photography. Polaroid’s should be treated like bars of gold. They are expensive, rare, and create a wow factor. I have a Polaroid snap it is a compact 10.0 mega pixel camera that comes in a variety of colors. They are best used for outdoors the 2 tone filters allow the colors to really pop. Another reason I chose this camera is because it comes with a micro SD slot that allows you to save a copy of the image. The first time shooting with this camera I found the view finder was a little hard to navigate. Through the tough navigation and a couple test shots I was able to create images that were very beautiful and unique. There is just something about taking a picture and waiting next to this little camera while it prints that is just so magical. I usually give a sheet away to let my model show it off on her Instagram. I am saving for a classic polaroid kind of like the Polaroid Originals Onestep 2 Camera offered at urban outfitters. The camera its self is not expensive but the paper is coming in at 24.00 per box of 8. This is a lot of money especially if you’re a struggling art student. The quality is unbeatable. Not to mention the feel of nostalgia you get when operating one of these bad boys you won’t care how hipster you look you will just be happy to create something touchable. Something that you will put in a collage next to your bed and just smile as visitors walk up and view your amazingly composed photographs. They do have a Variety of collage wall options such as battery operated lights with mini clothes pins on them. I find this to be cheap and who wants battery powers 80% of the time the lights are to dim. I find a regular clothes pin and Christmas lights work just fine.
