Cross fit

Recently I have been cross fitting. I have found that cross fitting is very fun and a very different way to approach fitness. I I have always been a heavy set person and while cross fitting I have found that I have more fun while working out doing crossfit. The gym I attend is Bedlam crossfit off of 1604 and I10 close to La Cantera. The reason I chose this gym in particular was because of the community feel. Being a big user on Instagram I viewed many cross fit gyms before picking 1. On my gym's page they had pictures of regular people not just athletes like some of the other crossfit gyms. They showed people of everyday life staying healthy not every 1 of these people have a 6-pack and that's OK!  The fun part about my 1st day was the work out it was a mix of weight lifting and cardio. This kept things interesting at the end of my workout I felt dead.  When I looked to my left and my right while I was laying on the floor I saw that many of the other cross fitters were laying on the ground and just as I was. This means cross fit is about pushing yourself to the limit and everybody pushed themselves to the limit.  As we all started to rise like zombies people were High 5 ing me and fist bumping me saying good job.  This was very encouraging.  It made me ready for the next class. I have been attending this gym since January. I am told that I look like I have lost weight.  I must admit I do feel more agile and energetic. A big thing about trying to achieve my goal weight is dieting the workout is only 30% while your diet is the other 70%. Being a single male in 2018  I have found that there are many dieting options for a young man on the go. When starting my crossfit journey I was 265 pounds. Tomorrow will be my 1st  Time on the scale cent starting my crossfit journey 3 months ago. I am excited and nervous. What if I haven't lost as much weight as I think I have. But I have my measurements and while shedding fat I am also building muscle I have noticed a reduced Weight in my stomach area. I will continue to be  Active throughout  2018. Now not many people are up for working out  But I must say everyone should stay active in some type of way not just models. Everyone has the right to live a long and healthy life you do not want something like an inactive lifestyle to kill you. I had an Uncle named rene Who was over 300 pounds for most of his life. At least for the time that I knew him. I grew up with my Uncle always buying fast food and never being active. He was a big part of my life. In the beginning of this year he got sick with something called Gilliam  Baret now I don't know what all this does but I knew that because of his weight he had a hard time recovering also having clogged arteries caused him to have a heart attack and it killed him. It was one of the most traumatic experiences in my life I was at the house while the paramedics put my Uncle into a body bag. I was forced to watch as they put him in to their truck. From that day I vowed to be more active my life will not be cut short by bad eating habits and being inactive so I encourage you to find something that will keep you active And keep you on this Earth for a long time not only for you but for your loved ones.
